Mrs. Wanda Cummings, manager of The Shoppes of Monticello, will present the program on the Monticello skyline - old & new. Come see what business used to be in the building that you see today. Interesting configures for inquisitive locals!
Although the history programs are prepared for Historical Foundation members, the programs are free and open to ALL history minded persons - come and learn more about your local community !
Program will be in the beautifully restored auditorium of Thomas Persons Hall. 200 + seats for spacing available
Visit the Seven Islands Road Visitors Center on the Main Floor - see exhibits from the original Indian Trail to where the path crosses today. Historic pieces of Americana can be seen plus the classic schoolhouse classroom
Visit the large room of photo exhibits from Jasper County history. Also featured in the Gallery is a collection of canvasses from the Historic Rural Churches of Georgia, these beautiful portraits have captured some of Georgia's most endearing sites.
