Jasper County Historical Foundation invites all members and the general public to its November history program. Please join us in the grand auditorium of Thomas Persons Hall at 7:00 for this one hour program featuring local history. 

Presenter:

Mrs. Wanda Cummings, manager of The Shoppes of Monticello, will present the program on the Monticello skyline - old & new. Come see what business used to be in the building that you see today. Interesting configures for  inquisitive locals!

Free and Open to the Public

Although the history programs are prepared for Historical Foundation members, the programs are free and open to ALL history minded persons - come and learn more about your local community !

Restored Main Floor Grand Auditorium

Program will be in the beautifully restored auditorium of Thomas Persons Hall. 200 + seats for spacing available

Seven Islands Road Visitors Center

Visit the Seven Islands Road Visitors Center on the Main Floor  - see exhibits from the original Indian Trail to where the path crosses today. Historic pieces of Americana can be seen plus the classic schoolhouse classroom 

Gallery

Visit the large room of photo exhibits from  Jasper County history. Also featured in the Gallery is a collection of canvasses from the Historic Rural Churches of Georgia, these beautiful portraits have captured some of Georgia's most endearing sites.

Stop by the Gift Shop! "A little of this and a little of that" - some history some new - be sure to check out "Ms. Norma's" new treasures! All proceeds go to help JCHF promote more programs at TPH.
