The historic facility proudly displays a newly renovated bottom floor that was publicly opened on May 4, 2013 during an community wide open house that coincided with the Jasper County Historical Foundation ‘s Annual Membership Meeting.
Renovations to the building are ongoing with work on a visitors center and the auditorium on the second floor, and the possible plans for the third floor are exciting!
The building is now available for use as a venue for special events such as wedding receptions, catered parties, meetings and banquets. Currently there are dramatic musical productions in the auditorium, in addition to the summer Musical Theater Camp. There are several classes offered on a regular basis such as Aikido, Ballet, Yoga and Art. Culinary classes have occurred on several occasions to the palette delights of students.
